Previewing APTA’s Private Practice 2022 Annual Conference and Exhibition

This November 2-5th in Aurora, Colorado, we will once more join our clients, colleagues, partners and peers at PPS 2022. We’re excited to stay at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center and experience the most current business management education available for private practice physical therapists and staff.

If you haven’t already, there’s still time to register for this incredible opportunity to hear from practitioners, researchers, educators and owners.

Check out the views from this year’s immersive and expansive mountain resort:

As in the years past, MEG Business Management will have a large presence at the conference. We are speaking, sponsoring, exhibiting and hosting an evening social event! In order to be in all these places at once, we’re bringing most of the team along who can’t wait to connect with you.

Speaking of connecting, Laura, one of your favorite MEG coaches, explains the many different ways you can connect with the MEG team and sign up for our social event here. As she points out, plan on spending your Friday afternoon with MEG because we have TWO very impactful sessions to take your practice to the next level. Here’s what you can expect.

FRIDAY 1:15 PM in RED ROCK 1 – FEATURING BRIAN GALLAGHER:

Tactical Ways to Elevate You and Your Business

Elevate your practice with a game changing, end-of-year program! This interactive workshop provides actionable tools to work ON your business, instead of IN it. Get solutions to owner-specific challenges and develop daily habits that will propel you to the top 10%! Attendance includes exclusive access to our new, step-by-step #elevate57program!

Takeaways to Expect from this 30 Minute Workshop:

  • Learn key SOPs to optimize your practice
  • Discover what can be done NOW to jumpstart 2023
  • Access a tactical program to improve every aspect of your clinic
  • Become the leader your team respects and follows

FRIDAY, 2 PM, ROOM 209 – FEATURING BRIAN GALLAGHER AND NICOLE WALCZAK:

Solving the “Supply Chain Shortage” – How to Hire & Retain the Best Personnel

Shifts in society have forced us to get innovative if we’re going to thrive in private practice. Owners are searching for workable solutions to address the dwindling spiral of reimbursement, efficiency, productivity, and compliance. Meanwhile, we face a “supply chain shortage” of quality, dedicated personnel due to The Great Resignation in the workforce.

This session will challenge the age-old arrangement of exchanging time for money and demonstrate how the solution starts with you. Learn how to implement a comprehensive practice management system that allows for swift coordination and communication throughout your organization, with 100% staff buy-in. We’ll introduce the Pay-for-Performance Model and other operational tactics that you can put into action in your clinic, immediately.

We will cover the tools needed to achieve this ideal company culture through proper work environment, establishing a scalable structure, attracting, developing and retaining the right personnel, and having the right SOPs and systems of operation for maximum productivity. This will include the cutting-edge technology of a virtual front desk system – do what you do best, and outsource the rest! This presentation will include audience engagement through role play of the various concepts and applications.

Takeaways to Expect from this Leadership Development Program:

  1. Adopt a leadership mindset as the practice owner who happens to be a physical therapist, not the other way around.
  2. Utilize tools and strategies for successful recruiting, hiring, onboarding and staff retention.
  3. Establish a compensation model and company culture that reflects staff goals and the company’s mission.
  4. Apply “role play” and given handouts to enable mastery of the personnel management skills taught.

Where Else is MEG at PPS 2022?

When class isn’t in session, be sure to stop by the exhibit hall and say hi to the MEG team at Booth #1514. We’ll have a lot to talk about, including the new MEG Academy courses, our improved Billing and Collections services, Credentialing, Compliance, Website marketing and more!

Plus, you can enter to win a free iPad Mini that we’re giving away Friday afternoon!

Finally, we want to mention once more that this year’s event Thursday night is bigger than ever. We’re joining with our friends at Prompt to host a very special social mixer of clients, partners and new friends.

This is an RSVP-only event so please take the time to sign up here

The good news is that we don’t have to wait until November to connect – reach out today to schedule time with Jennifer and let us know how we can help you level up your practice and get a jump start on creating the practice of your dreams!
